I found out about your clubs from a member of one of your groups. I was interested. I met with you and decided to commit and see what happened. I am writing to let you know that I am delighted with my decision. The level of interest in my business has been immense and I will conclude October with at least 4x my annual investment (and maybe considerably more). I urge any business owner who is interested in networking, but hasn't found the right association, to commit to your groups and explore the opportunity. With one caveat. If you are not good at what you do, you will be exposed.

Having seen the power of networking in previous careers, I was keen to join a breakfast networking organisation when I started up my travel business, working from home. It can be difficult to build a clientele when you are not ‘out there’ with a shopfront, and passing trade, and I knew that referrals were the best way to grow my business. I had investigated a high profile breakfast networking organisation but was discouraged at the distance I would have to travel, as well as the rigidity of the structure of that particular organisation. When Lawrence, from the Networking Business Clubs, contacted me, I was keen to hear more about his organisation. I was attracted to his easy-going attitude, the fortnightly (rather than weekly) meeting schedule, and the proximity to my home/ business. I also recognised, that, in spite of the up-front cost, it would be a matter of securing only a couple of good bookings to pay back the initial investment, so I signed up immediately. The group was welcoming, extremely friendly and everyone always has something interesting to say about their line of work. Joining the networking business group was the best decision I have made for my business. Not only did it bring me referrals for my business, but it opened up a forum whereby I can meet with other small business owners and gain an insight into their business lives and challenges they face, whilst at the same time I have a group of like minded people to discuss my own business concerns and triumphs. I ran a computer tech support business and was a member of Lawrence's

I have been a member of the Surry Hills Networking Business Club for 18 months now. During my time, I have met a number of other successful business minds that I have built ongoing relationships with.
Very early on I realised that networking is not about what you can get out of the group, but what you can bring to the group.
Being a start-up business I found it very useful as a tool to see how others run their business and to discuss pressing business matters.
I have had clients come from the group and it's wider circle. It is also a great environment for discussing the latest matters affecting business, whether it be employment legislation, taxation, health and safety, etc.
